Activate the Grade Export Feature

The Grade Export feature is not activated by default, so an administrator will need to activate it.

Activate the Grade Export feature

1. Sign in to Blackboard with a user account with system admin privileges.
2. Access the Admin Panel.
3. Select Platform Extensions in the Cloud Management section.
4. Choose Activate Subscription from the context menu for Grade Export v2.
5. Select the Available toggle so the feature is enabled. 

If you have the legacy building block version of Grades Journey enabled, you will need to disable it before you can configure Grade Export.

1. On the Admin Panel, select Tools in the Tools and Utilities section.
2. Locate the Grade Approval and Transfer course tool and set the tool Availability appropriately for the implementation needs.
   • Example 1: Make the Grades Journey Approval tool unavailable in future courses not yet created in Blackboard Learn.
   • Example 2: Make the Grades Journey Approval tool off in all courses.
3. Click Save to save your changes.
4. On the Admin Panel, select Building Blocks in the Integrations section.
5. Select Installed Tools.
6. Locate Blackboard Grade Journey Service and select Set Unavailable from the context menu.
