Terminology Highlights between D2L Brightspace and Learn Ultra

If your institution has migrated from D2L Brightspace to Learn Ultra, you’ll encounter some terminology differences. We’ve highlighted some of Ultra’s key features to get you started customizing your courses in Ultra.

  • Students are prompted with a pop-up when they first enter a course if there is a new announcement.

  • Instructors can quickly take attendance without having to set up Attendance Registers and Sessions.

Availability Dates & Conditions Release Conditions
  • Instructors can release items to specific students or groups of students.
