Learn SaaS release 3700.5.0: Update to client Test/Stage environments
Blackboard Learn SaaS Continuous Delivery v3700.5.0 | Release to Production 11 July 2019
Original Experience, Ultra Experience
As part of our commitment to release quality, we’re applying an updated version of 3700.5.0 (full release number 3700.5.0-rel.12+64e9d47) to client Test and Staging servers during off-hours on Tuesday, June 25, 2019.
Updates in this version include:
-
We’ve removed the Learn Legacy Authentication Provider type, which represented the authentication framework deployed on versions prior to 9.1 SP8.
-
Instructors received error messages when they created a folder or downloaded a file with special characters in the filename with SafeAssign. We’ve fixed the issue.
-
When a student submitted a file with spaces in the filename, the instructor couldn’t preview or download it in the Ultra Course View. We've fixed the issue. More information on Behind the Blackboard.
-
A few improvements for Mobile users:
-
Students using the Blackboard App received errors when starting an assignment attempt in the Original Course View. We’ve fixed the issue.
-
Students using the Blackboard App on an Android device couldn’t see what they were typing in an assignment because the keyboard was hiding the rich text editor in the Ultra Course View. We've fixed the issue.
