Blackboard Learn SaaS
Ultra Experience

Impact: Administrators

In this release, a new column called 'Allow JavaScript Injection' is available. The column is visible on the LTI Tool Providers page. This serves as an indicator to administrators (Yes or No) that an LTI tool supports JavaScript injection. Administrators can identify these tools in the application.

When an administrator enables an LTI application that supports JavaScript injection, a security warning is displayed. The admin can accept or deny the security warning. Accepting the warning enables the LTI application. Denying the warning message will not enable the application.

For administrators: There are select partners only that have the required permissions to support custom JavaScript in Ultra. This is managed and approved on a per-partner basis by Anthology and supported only in the developer portal. The Allow JavaScript Injection column is read-only and can’t be edited from in the user interface.
