Why are we making this decision?
We have arrived at the difficult decision to discontinue support for the Moodle SafeAssign plugin as it no longer aligns with our strategic roadmap for the Teaching and Learning solutions set at Anthology.

What are client options to replace these products (either at Anthology or outside of Anthology)?
Clients can speak with their Customer Experience Managers regarding gaining access to the SafeAssign API or discuss moving to Blackboard Learn, where SafeAssign is available natively. We also recommend Turnitin, a plagiarism detection tool that we partner with for our LMS, Blackboard Learn.

What if you already started working on the renewal process with your Client Experience Manager?
If an Anthology representative has already started working on the renewal process with you, and you have questions or concerns about the end of life for the Moodle SafeAssign plugin, we encourage you to contact your representative as soon as possible to discuss your options.

If the renewal period ends prior to June 2024, you may choose to continue with the service until June 2024. However, if this is not the case, or if you disagree with the termination date, you should discuss this with your representative and cancel the renewal accordingly.
