A dashboard is a unique collection of visualizations. You will determine which visualizations are present and how they are configured on the dashboard.

Create a dashboard

  1. On the Dashboards tab, select Create New.
  2. Type a short and descriptive Dashboard Name.
  3. Select the Display Dashboard Title toggle if you want to display the dashboard name as a title for your dashboard.
  4. Determine the number of rows and columns you want in your dashboard and enter those numbers in the Grid Configuration boxes. You should choose the maximum number you want to appear; for example, if you want three columns across the middle row and one column to span the first row and the third row, you should enter three columns and three rows.
  5. Determine the column configuration you want for each row and enter it in the Row(s) Configuration area. There is a collapsible section for each row; select the row to expand it. In the ColSpan column, input the number of columns you want that column to span in that row. You will see the configuration in the middle of the page (the Dashboard Structure Preview) update as you change these numbers to reflect the structure you have indicated.
