Get Blackboard Data
Get access to Blackboard Data by submitting a Behind the Blackboard new report case or ticket:
- Login to Behind the Blackboard.
- Select Create a case under the Support section.
- Fill in the required information on the form:

Provide names, emails, and roles for up to 20 individuals to get Blackboard Data user accounts.
The roles recognized by Blackboard Data are BbDataDeveloper (Snowflake access) and BbDataReportingUser (Reporting access).

Once provisioned, activate accounts by performing a first-time password reset.

Blackboard Data Entitlements
Blackboard Data is available to all Learn SaaS clients hosted in the US, Canada, EU, Sydney, and Singapore AWS regions.
Blackboard Data Standard grants your institution with:
- 20 seat licenses for Reporting.
- 350 Snowflake credits for Developer.
- 1 service account that enables you to connect to different BI tools as well as to your own institutional data platforms.
Institutions, where Institutional Hierarchy has been set up, are entitled to:
- 30 seat licenses for Reporting.
- 350 Snowflake credits for Developer.
- 1 service account that enables you to connect to different BI tools as well as to your own institutional data platforms.
Blackboard Data reserves the right to modify these entitlements as necessary to improve our services or address evolving needs. Any updates will be communicated to you in advance, ensuring your institution has sufficient time to prepare and adjust accordingly.
