    • What’s the total number of course items created with or without the AI Design Assistant within a selected date range? 
  • How’s the AI Design Assistant used by Institutional Hierarchy Node?

Access the Report 

On the Illuminate home page, select Go to Reporting. Select the Teaching area of impact. You can now go to the AI Design Assistant Adoption report by selecting the title.

This report is currently only available for institutions in the Preview Cohort.

Use Controls  

You can use the Controls section to filter and refine the data shown in each report tab based on your needs. Each tab has a specific set of Controls or filters you can use. You can always go back and reset your controls.

AI Design Assistant Adoption

The AI Design Assistant Adoption report provides an overview of how courses and course items use AI-assisted creation over time. The report also displays how instructors use AI-assisted creation.

What’s the number of courses, users, and course items using the AI Design Assistant?  

These KPIs compare the usage of the AI Design Assistant over the current week and the previous week. The dates displayed are dynamic and will change based on the selected date range in the controls. The KPIs also show the percentage increase or decrease in usage between the two weeks.

What’s the proportion of courses using the AI Design Assistant?  

This donut chart counts the number of courses that use the AI Design Assistant and the number of courses that don’t. The percentage of courses are calculated on each count.

How’s the AI Design Assistant used to create course items?  

This stacked bar chart compares the percentage of items created with and without the AI Design Assistant for each course item type. 

You can select and drag the slider at the bottom of the bar chart to focus on a specific course item type.

How’s the AI Design Assistant used over time?  

This combo chart displays the total number of course items created with the AI Design Assistant within the date range you selected. The line shows the percentage of course items created with the AI Design Assistant out of the total number of course items created.

This stacked bar chart compares the number of courses created with and without the AI Design Assistant by institutional hierarchy node. The bar chart shows the total courses created within the date range you selected. If you drill down, you'll find the percentage of course items by type created with and without the AI Design Assistant.

How's the AI Design Assistant used in courses? 

This table displays the total number of course items created by course ID, course name, and course item type within the date range you selected. Each row shows the number of available and not available course items created with the AI Design Assistant.

How's the AI Design Assistant used by instructors? 

This table uses the count of courses per instructor and displays the total number of course items created by each one of them. This is only for course items that use the AI Design Assistant.
