Thank your sponsors!
Your district or school can add advertisements for sponsors on your school app. Sponsors can appeal to a certain grade of students, or when an after school activity is hosted by a company that wants to advertise specials.
Open the advertisements option
- After logging into the Blackboard Communications HQ website, select Settings > App Config.
- Select the Global App Settings button.
- Select the Advertisements tab.
You can review how many visits users have made to an advertisement and any discussions that have been made.
You can add new advertisements and remove any old advertisements that you no longer need to track.
Add an advertisement
- Select Add on the Advertisement tab.
- Enter the advertisement details:
- Type the Title of the ad.
- Select which feeds the ad will be displayed on in the app. You can set the Availability to Top Stories, News, and Stream.
- Upload an Image to be set as the advertisement image.
- Type the Text for your add details
- Type the Link to the sponsor's website.
- Type the Sponsor Name.
- Upload a picture for the Sponsor Image. This image appears next to the sponsor name.
- Type the email address for the Performance Emails.
- Review how the ad will appear in all your mobile app feeds by selecting Top Stories, News, and Stream tabs.
- Select Create.
- Select Back to List.
- Determine the frequency of when the ad will appear by moving the slider in Top Stories, News, and Stream in the Advertisements tab.
Delete an advertisement
- After logging into the Blackboard Communications HQ website, select Settings > App Config.
- Select the Global App Settings button.
- Select the Advertisements tab.
- Select the advertisement to be deleted.
- Select Remove.
