Ally 2.17 | Release to production: December 4, 2025

As part of our continued efforts to expand Administrator access to Ally data for tracking and progress reporting, the Ally and Illuminate teams have made the first version of the new Ally Data Model available in Illuminate for Ally clients using Blackboard for their LMS.  

This new data model is listed under CDM_ALY in your reader accounts.  With this data model, administrators are able to write queries to report on various aspects of the accessibility performance at your institution.  These entities are available in Snowflake as views in a new ALY schema within the existing Illuminate database. This data is refreshed every 12 hours.  Please note that this initial release does not yet map Ally data to other Blackboard data models (for example CDM_LMS).

Bug Fixes and Improvements

  • Fixed an issue in D2L Brightspace after the recent Token Refreshes that caused the Instructor Feedback Preview to be blank and for instructors to frequently encounter an Oops error when attempting to load feedback or quick fixes.
