Improved Chat privacy

Continuous Delivery Collaborate 22.20 | Release to Production: November 10, 2022
Updates

With the November release, we have improved Chat privacy behavior in breakout rooms. When session participants without chat permission are moved to a breakout room, participants can chat in their own breakout rooms but not in the ‘Everyone’ Chat channel anymore.

This is going to be useful when the instructor wants to leverage breakout rooms to have a 1:1 with each participant, maintaining privacy, so no side conversations can happen in the ‘Everyone’ Chat channel. Once done with 1:1, the instructor can bring everyone back together by simply stopping breakout rooms.

Improved naming of downloaded recordings

Continuous Delivery Collaborate Ultra 22.16 | Release to Production: 8 September 2022
Updates

Until now, Collaborate recording downloads were saved as collab-recording.mp4. Based on your feedback and use cases, we identified this could be improved to save users time. With this release, downloaded recordings follow a new naming convention and include information such as date and time (UTC), session name, and recording name. This makes it easier for users to identify recordings and order them by date. This will also save time for instructors who may want to copy or download recordings for archiving before deleting them.
