Set up institutional accounts

Blackboard is moving towards Universal Authentication Service (UAS) for all Blackboard products including Blackboard Data.

Currently, a small group of institutions is piloting UAS. Please keep an eye on this page for updates on the General Availability timeline of UAS and its impact on Blackboard Data products.

Universal Authentication Service or UAS is Blackboard's new Single Sign-On service for your licensed Blackboard SaaS products. It's a single point of entry for all your licensed Blackboard SaaS products supporting UAS. Once configured, you only log in once and may seamlessly access your Blackboard products simply by going to their URL. No additional login is required. In addition to the above convenience, UAS offers an increased level of control over non-UAS authentication methods.
