Determine your options for Teacher Communications.

You can set the optimal start time for teacher messages. All teacher messages will be delivered at that time and not before that time.

You can also determine which delivery methods will be available to teachers. The Email and Text/SMS options are set by default. You can remove either option or add phone message capabilities.

Message delivery options

  1. From the Blackboard Communications HQ interface menu, select Messages > Organization Config.
  2. Select the district or school name for the Configuration page.
  3. Select the Delivery Options link.
  4. On the Delivery Options page, select the Delivery methods for the Teacher.
  5. Set the optimal message start time in the Default Message Schedule box.
  6. Select Save when finished.
