CourseSites is a shared environment which is used by hundreds of thousands of users all over the world. Because CourseSites is a single environment shared by so many different users, we are not able to provide Administration level access to users. Therefore, if you are searching the knowledgebase at help.blackboard.com and you see options displayed which you can’t access, check if the article is intended for Administrators by looking for the role in the breadcrumb trail.
CourseSites users can register for CourseSites either in the role of Instructor or Student depending on the option they choose when registering.
