    Description

SIS Central now supports enrollments of users, courses, and memberships with the DataLink client tool.

    About SIS Central

The ultimate goal of SIS Central is to provide a single method and access point for clients to integrate their SIS/ERP system with licensed Blackboard solutions without having to set up separate integrations to each Blackboard product. The DataLink client tool is a Windows-based client tool that runs as a service on a Blackboard customer's server and works with all major K12 Student Information Systems (SIS). With this release, Blackboard's SIS Central now supports the following additional capabilities:

    • A seamless synchronization of enrollments between all Blackboard Learn deployment options and the DataLink client tool.
    • The integration supports the following Student Information Systems (SIS):
      • Aeries
      • eSchoolPLUS
      • Infinite Campus

Future additional Student Information Systems (SIS) being considered include Chalkable (InformationNOW), Synergy (Edupoint), Focus, Genesis, Illuminate, TxEIS, and Skyward.

    New Features

    • Integration with the DataLink client tool - a Windows-based client tool supporting an automated data integration of enrollments (users, courses, memberships) from DataLink to Learn via SIS Central.

Check out the DataLink client tool video

    • Option in SIS Central for administrators to receive Admin Alerts via email.
    • Ability in SIS Central to pass SMS (text message) designated phone numbers to Connect 5 for PowerSchool customers.

    2. For Learn 9.1 October 2014 release and later, this building block can be obtained via Software updates or by downloading the building block from the SIS Central Building Block download page.

    New Features:
