Case

The Case page is the Service Desk default landing page, and is where you search for, view, create, edit, and work on (perform actions on) cases for support requests.

Permissions to perform certain tasks within this page can be managed.

KB

The KB page is where you manage the institution's Knowledge Base. Users with the proper permissions create and edit the Knowledge Base hierarchy (folder tree) and articles.

Contact

The Contact page is where you search for, view, create, edit Contact profiles. Contacts are the constituent base of the school. You can also view the Case History for the selected Contact.

Download

The Download page displays the File Manager interface, allowing you to add support files for the selected Department/Institution, and organize them into Catalogs.

Profile

The Profile page is where you manage your personal information, preference settings, password*, and personal views.

If integration with your school's Active Directory has been implemented, you will not see the Change Password feature (you manage your password per your school method).

Setup

The Setup page is where Advisors with Administrative roles and permissions can access to administrative functions, which at this time are restricted to:

  1. Manage Advisors
    • Personal Information
    • Passwords
    • Activate / Deactivate
  2. Create institution level views (beyond the 2 standard out-of-the-box views)
