An operational data store (ODS) is a database designed to integrate data from multiple sources. The ODS schema consists of tables and synonyms based on core tables and views. The ODS schema resides in the stats database.
By providing this set of diagrams and views, customers can generate custom report definitions. You can use these definitions with the BIRT Report Designer and Eclipse plugin to import custom built report definitions into outcomes.
The ODS schema is broken into multiple star schemas. Each star schema is centered on a fact views surrounded by dimension and miscellaneous views, which are views that don't fit into a star schema but are useful. A description for each star schema and their fact views are included in this section.
The dimension and miscellaneous views are described separately in an alphabetical list because they're shared between star schemas.
