You must configure the roles that have access to the different parts of ECM.
Configure the roles for Extended Course Management v2
- Sign in to Blackboard with an account that has system admin privileges.
- Access the Admin Panel.
- Select Platform Extensions Manager in the Tools and Utilities area.
- Select Configuration on the Extended Course Management v2 tile.
- Choose the roles that will have access to each area of ECM.
- Course Management Tools User roles will be able to access the Extended Course Management Tool.
- Goals Import Tool User roles will be able to access the Goals Import Tool.
- Create Course User roles will be able to merge a course with a new course in the Extended Course Management Tool.
- Merge Course User roles will be able to merge a course with an existing course in the Extended Course Management Tool.
- Unmerge Course User roles will be able to separate a course from an existing course in the Extended Course Management Tool.
