The Grades Journey Admin Tools tab provides access to administrative tools to manage the Grades Journey extension.
To access the Admin Tools tab
- Sign in to Blackboard.
- Access the Admin panel.
- Select Platform Extensions from Cloud Management.
- Choose Edit Settings from the Grade Export v2 menu.
- Select the Admin Tools tab.

Grade Status Delete
The status of grades can be reset back to Unapproved from Approved or Extracted and the Action Date and Last Updated By values can be cleared with this tool. Enter a required time and date parameter, and any column with an Action Date prior to the configured date will be reset.
Grade Column Repair
The Grade Column Repair tool can be used when a grade column is provisioned and then deleted. The column can be manually recreated in the course and reset as if it were a provisioned column. To reset the column, enter the Course ID and Grade Column Name and select Submit.
Course Unlock
The Course Unlock tool can be used to unlock a locked Grade center in an Original course.
Course ID | Enter the Course ID if only a single course needs to be unlocked. |
Multiple Course IDs | Upload a CSV file containing all relevant course IDs if multiple courses need to be unlocked (you can download the template file to view the format the file should be in). |
Notification Email Address | Enter an email address a notification will be sent to when a batch unlock process has been completed. |
Click Submit to save your changes.
Admin Logs
Admin logs that contain information about successful events, errors, and debug messages are available for administrators. To access the logs, on the Admin panel in the Content Management section choose Manage Content > institution > logs > platformExtensions > gradeExport. The logs are updated every hour and maintain data for five days.
