You must configure the roles that can launch the Grade Approval and Transfer tool.

Configure Roles for Grades Journey v2

  1. Sign in to Blackboard.
  2. Access the Administrator Panel.
  3. Select Grade Export v2 Settings in the Tools and Utilities area.
  4. Choose the roles that users must have to be able to launch the Grade Approval and Transfer tool.
    • Grade Approver Admin roles will be able to launch the tool from the admin interface. They will also be able access all the Approval workflow buttons regardless of whether those buttons are enabled in the Grade Approval and Transfer Settings.
    • Grade Approver User roles will be able to launch the tool from within courses. They will be able to access the Approval workflow buttons based on the buttons enabled in the Grade Approval and Transfer Settings and the roles selected in the Extract Course Role Settings.
  5. Select Save.

Custom Access Denied Message

You can enter a custom access denied message on this screen. Users who do not have the appropriate roles will see this message when they try to launch the Grade Approval and Transfer tool.
